Men's Artistic Gymnastics

Schedule & Registration

At Pulsars we are proud to offer both Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics. Athletes in our Women's program will be introduced to the 4 Olympic events; Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor. Athletes in our Men's program will be introduced to the 6 Olympic events; Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar. Athletes in both programs will also use trampoline surfaces as a training tool.

Women's Artistic Gymnastics

Boys Gymnastics

*Boys 6 to 9 years old, 1.5 hours

This is an introductory class for boys that are looking to flip, swing, tumble, and spring in a safe environment. Athletes not only continue their gymnastics skill development but are also introduced to basic physical fitness and conditioning through games, stretching and specific challenges given to each child by their coach. 

 

At this level they start working toward our comprehensive level system developed by our nationally recognized head coaches.

Events: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar.

Training Tools: Trampoline, Foam Pit, Fast Track, and Rope.

Sr. Boys Gymnastics

*Boys 10 to 13 years old, 1.5 hours

This is an introductory class for boys that are looking to flip, swing, tumble, and spring in a safe environment. This class is developed to meet the needs of older boys looking to introduce themselves to the sport of gymnastics. We know at this age boys are looking to learn how to swing big and flip. We put special focus on these skills. This is also a great program to help with physical & motor abilities that can be developed for other sports.

Events: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar.

Training Tools: Trampoline, Foam Pit, Fast Track, and Rope.

Boys Gym Stars

*Boys gymnastics experience is required, 8+ years old, 2 hours

This program is for those who already have some experience in recreational gymnastics and wish to learn in a more challenging and focused environment. This can be a pathway to our developmental program or competitive stream. 

This 2 hour program features the same structure as our boys gymnastics program. However, the extra half hour is spent focusing on the flexibility and physical development needed to gain higher level gymnastics skills.

Events: Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar.

Training Tools: Trampoline, Strength Training, and Flexibility.

Girls Gymnastics

*Girls 6 to 9 years old, 1.5 hours

This is an introductory class for girls that are looking to flip, swing, tumble, and spring in a safe environment. Athletes not only continue their gymnastics skill development but are also introduced to basic physical fitness and conditioning through games, stretching and specific challenges given to each child by their coach.

*Girls 10 to 13 years old, 1.5 hours

This class is developed to meet the needs of older girls looking to introduce themselves to the sport of gymnastics. We know at this age girls are looking to learn how to round-off and back bend. We put special focus on these skills. This is also a great program to help with physical & motor abilities that can be developed for other sports.

Events: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Floor.

Training Tools: Trampoline, Foam Pit, Fast Track, and Rope.
